About
California Humane Society is a nonprofit focused on saving the lives of homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. We expand adoption opportunities by bringing municipal shelter animals into the community through small offsite adoption events that complement shelter operations. Trained shelter volunteers and local municipal and private partnerships help connect adoptable animals with people who might never enter a shelter.
