How can you become a volunteer hero?

2. Apply and get approved (Must be at least 18 years old).
3. Clear a background check with digital fingerprinting - it's fast and free!
4. Attend a brief shelter orientation and an animal-handling class.
5. Complete some paperwork.

What will you be doing as a volunteer?
Commit to attending at least one or two adoption events per month.
Pick up a shelter dog from a local participating shelter and transport it to a nearby scheduled 2-3 hour adoption event.
Allow potential adopters to meet, pet, fall in love with, and apply to adopt your new friend, then return to the shelter.
Send your photos and videos of the animals and events out to the world to help spread the love and invite your friends and family to be on your team!!
