California Humane Society is a nonprofit focused on improving outcomes for companion animals. We expand adoption opportunities by bringing shelter animals into the community through small, safe, repeatable adoption events that complement shelter operations. Our model is practical and community based. Trained volunteers and local partnerships help connect adoptable animals with people who might never enter a shelter.
